THE HEARTACHE

Laxshika has not been well for the past 3 days, continuous fever. Took her to the doctor on the first day, medication didn't help much.
Her body temperature kept fluctuating. She had never had such high fever.

Early this morning she woke up at 4 a.m and was grumpy and restless, temperature was in 39.5° . I was so worried, rushed her to hosp later that morning, fever had already gone down, I noticed red dots all over her body and informed the doctor,

Suspected it was measles. Doctor then suggested to do a blood test, I was so upset and worried, as I stood outside the doctor's room my heart was aching to hear her scream n cry, at the point I just wished I could bare her pain for her. I felt like crying.

When I went in back I saw her looking around for me n immediately stucked to me, she was showing her hand and saying something in her baby language. I know it wasn't a big thing, but seeing my baby go thru the pain made me tear.

I would never want to see her in such pain again. I guess it's just what me call a Mother's affection.

Thank God it's just a viral fever and the red spots are due to post viral effects. Hope she recovers soon.

ONE YEAR & 6 days

It just feels like I just went in for labour, time has passed so fast.. Sai Laxshika has turned ONE !

Yes things has changed since the time she was born, it has got even challenging..
She has got 6 teeth, her 1st two were her vampire tooth.

She started walking on her birthday. She still is in the zombie mode of walking, not really stable but for a matter of fact I know its not going to be any easy LOL!

Her first word was at 8 months (tata) meaning grandpa, she can now say amma (mother), akka (sister), mam mam when she's hungry or thirsty.

She's growing up very fast and is getting very beautiful, takes away all my pain n sorrows with her cheeky smile.

My Empty Home

So by the tittle some of you should know what am I facing right now :p

Sai Laxshika Nair is now 7 months and has become a pro crawler. Not only does she crawls but she has started holding the chair and standing. Sometime she forgets she has not yet major the skills of walking and intends to take of her hands from the chair and then TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR she falls.

My eyes has to be glued on her as where she is heading to.

She loves playing with remotes,phones, etc . Does not like or even touch any soft toys or dolls. LOL
