One Down One More To Go

I'm super excited today as I have become an aunt once again!!!! WOOOOOHOOOO !!! YES!! my sister in law who was due 10 days apart from me delivered today evening at 6.56pm to a gundu gundu baby boy.
Even though this is not my 1st experience of seeing the whole process..This one was more of a meaningful one to me as it was like seeing my future in the present !!!
Thanks to all the reading I have been doing I was excited in seeing and exploring the gadgets around her..
She got admitted at around 12pm and from 2pm we were all in the hospital. The doctor broke her water bag around 1'ish ... and her contractions slowly started... she was 2cm dilated at that point of time. Unlike her 1st labour, she was straight taken to the labour room from the time we went. We were not allowed in but of course we kept sneaking in now and then. At around 5'ish the nurse checked and she was 6cm dilated... We were all even more excited. I was hoping Murali ( my husband ) would make it before she delivers.
I have no idea actually how we all sat down there for that long. The chairs were so uncomfy!! Can u imagine being preggy and sitting straight up on a metal chair??? Thanks to Aleesya for keeping us all occupied by running behind her and entertaining her. Poor girl didn't know what was happening.
My sister in law's contractions started kicking in from then and around 6pm onwards we could hear her screaming of and on. Which freaked me out alil. Not actually freaked me out, but more like I couldn't take it hearing her in so much of pain. She was screaming quite badly as time was nearing.. even Aleesya started notice her mum's scream and was asking us what was going on.
All we could was stand by the door and pray hard for her. I did tear alil though hehe but again was not out of fear. I had so much running in me at that point of time. I wondered how much our mothers go thru to bring us to this world and sometimes we intend to forget the amount the have done for us and hurt them.. and yet the would come back to us with a smiling face just amazes me...truly, mothers are one of God's amazing creations.
Ok ok no emo emo!!! Back to my SIL's labour story!!! So yeah as we all waited at around 6.20pm, we heard the nurse shout and say tell d doctor she's ready. And so the doctor arrives and walks in the room with a huge charming smile on his face...BTW his my gynae too *winks*
So yeah no doubts her screams did still continue and TADAAAAA at 6.56pm, it stopped and we could here a huge loud cry from my newly born nephew ♥♥♥♥
Awww we all started screaming out of joy haha being dramatic alil. Few minutes later they brought him out and my God !! Then is when I knew why was she screaming that much!! He was such a cute lil gundu laddu baby!!!!
Here's something I would like to share with u!!! Another indian pregnancy myth!!! People say that the 1st pregnancy always hurts more than the 2nd n so on!!! Today I learnt that that's crap!!! It purely depends on ur baby's weight and not on anything else!!!
During my SIL'S 1st delivery, there was not a tiny winy bit of sound from her. Only one loud AMMMMMMA at the end of her delivery. Please note WITH NO EPIDURAL !!!  And for this delivery she was the opposite of her 1st. AGAIN WITHOUT EPIDURAL. The only difference was, Aleesya weighed about 2.56kg and this lil laddu weighs about 3kg plus. So it's purely about the weight of the baby I believe. Anyhow, I salute my sister in law and all the other ladies for going thru this!!! No joke!!!
Well now that she's done, it's my turn coming soon..!!! In spite of seeing my SIL'S labour, I am not freaked out or scared of my turn...it's not cos I can't feel her pain but it's simple because I have no way in backing out of this right so why sit and moan and grown about it?? BRING IT OUT !!! IM READY FOR IT hahaha!!!  Besides, It's only the matter of hours of pain, the moment I heard our princess's cry and see her, I am pretty sure the pain would just vanish!!! Well it better do!!! ;-)
Well that's all for now, it's time I hit the bed as I'm freaking exhausted !!!
Oh yeah and FYI, Murali did make it on  time before she delivered ;) and I know the fact that he can't wait for our turn hehe ♥
